When we moved into our house, the previous owner/builder just had no sense of style. My kitchen had/has dark granite countertops, oak cabinets, and a white tile with a blue bird in the back splash. Well my problem was the blue bird. What was I going to do with a blue bird in my kitchen that had black accents?
So here is my solution. I bought a tin, paintable tile from Old Time Pottery, spray painted it black, and hot glued it over the blue bird.
Did I mention that these tiles were $1.oo apiece?!!
What a great (and inexpensive) solution! Good job!
